DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 7, 2014) – A professor and legal expert will enlighten listeners and visitors through a discussion with students – “Looking at the Law” – during WNDB 93.5FM/1150 AM’s Marc Bernier Show, a live broadcast hosted by Daytona State College, set for Thursday, Oct. 23. This special series of Bernier’s show focuses on community topics of interest, news, wide-ranging guests and an open forum.
Bernier’s first guests are Daytona State professor Kim Grippa and students from her paralegal studies course enacting a class activity examining questions of law in case studies. Grippa holds a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from State University of New York at Albany. Among her career highlights, she is a Master Faculty graduate and was appointed to Judge David Beck’s Pro Se Litigant Project and was recognized by the 7th Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Office for the recruitment of volunteer child advocates. The exercise and discussion run from 3 to 5 p.m.; all are welcome to attend and add questions or comments.
In addition to news of the day, his next segment features "The Money All-Stars" talking about money issues in a panel discussion from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to pose questions and share insights during the panel talk.
