Featuring Central Florida’s finest brass and percussion
musicians performing in the British brass-band style with a uniquely American
twist, the Brass Band of Central Florida has an active performance
schedule including concerts and competitions nationally and internationally.
Their next stop will be the North American Brass Band Association’s
championship in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The band includes tuba player Robin Fisk, an adjunct
instructor at Daytona State. Fisk teaches low brass instruments and has been
teaching at the college for two years.
