Annual holiday bazaar set at Daytona State, Dec. 5

The Daytona State College Chapter of the Association of Florida Colleges announces its 2nd Annual Holiday Bazaar, Thursday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring handcrafted items and baked goods.

With no entry fee, visitors can explore dozens of items offered by craft vendors from the college. Featured goods include handmade crafts, jewelry, custom digital paintings, home-baked goods, gift baskets, knitted and crocheted items, photography, door wreaths, decorated garlands, quilts, table placemats and runners, plants, handmade natural soap, body lotion and cream, artwork, greeting cards, Christmas ornaments, as well as ready-made sand molds decorated with shells and sea glass.

According to Chapter President Sharon Ielfield, “The Holiday Bazaar is a great opportunity for college employees to showcase their crafting talents and is perfectly timed for the holiday season.”

The bazaar will take place in Bergengren Hall (Bldg. 110), Room 112, located on the college’s Daytona Beach Campus at 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd.
